FAQs

What jobs are available?

Take a look at our current job openings here. We encourage you to explore our Job Opportunities and take our quiz before you arrive to help you identify what roles might work best for you.

Do you hire on the spot?

You may get hired on the spot, but it’s not guaranteed. Some roles will require follow-up from a recruiter. If there are no roles that suit your experience, we’ll add your resume to our talent community and notify you when an opportunity becomes available.

When will I hear back after my interview?

You may hear immediately if offered a role. Otherwise, a recruiter will contact you after the event whether you’re hired or not.

How long should I plan to be at the hiring event?

Wait times vary, but we recommend planning to spend 2 to 3 hours with us. Thousands of people attend our Hiring Event, so please be patient as we ensure everyone gets to speak with our recruiters.

Is there training required?

Yes, there is training required for every role. If you’re hired, your manager will reach out with more information. Some jobs may require training prior to the tournament start dates.

Pick Up Where You Left Off

If you’ve worked at the US Open before, you do not need to attend our Hiring Event. Our recruiters will reach out to you to see if you’re interested in working with us again.

Do Something New

If you want to explore new opportunities within the tournament, we encourage you to apply for a role that suits your skills and interests. Take our quiz to get a feel for what jobs are right for you ahead of time.

FAQs

If I worked here before, am I guaranteed a job again?

No, but your past experience definitely counts. If you left a previous US Open role in good standing, we would love to welcome you back. You will still need to apply, interview and train, as relevant.

Do I have to apply again if I’ve worked here before?

Yes, if you’re interested in the same role, please apply again. A recruiter will contact you on next steps. If you’re applying for a new role in a different department, please plan to attend the Hiring Event.

Will this year’s Hiring Event be the same as last year’s?

It will be better. Our 2026 Hiring Event will take place within our Grandstand Tennis Stadium this year since Arthur Ashe is currently under construction. You’ll still check in upon arrival, but we’ll now route you through designated zones to better expedite your interview process.

When does training start?
